About Us

Who We Are

Our editorial focus is home security systems, monitoring options, installation and the costs of protecting a home.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help readers in the US make informed, safe choices about the best home security systems. We research, test, and analyze products and services so you can protect your home and family with confidence. We aim to deliver clear, accurate, and up-to-date information without hype or sales pressure.

What We Cover

Our editorial coverage centers on the best home security systems. This includes professional monitoring services, DIY security kits, outdoor cameras, video doorbells, smart locks, sensors, and related accessories. We compare features, pricing, installation requirements, contract terms, and overall value to help you find the right fit for your home.

Editorial Independence

We earn affiliate commissions when readers click through links on our site and make a purchase. These commissions help fund our work, but they do not influence our editorial rankings or reviews. Our recommendations are based solely on our independent research, hands-on testing when possible, and objective analysis of each product's strengths and weaknesses.
